Rachel Stockhausen DDS, MS

Dr. Stockhausen has been working in the dental field for 23 years. After she attended Indiana University for undergrad, she was granted early admission into dental school at the University of Detroit-Mercy in 1998. Dr. Stockhausen then practiced as a general dentist in the Metro Detroit area for 5 years. She furthered her education at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine by specializing in their three-year endodontic program where, during her residency, she was chosen to be the Chief Resident. After completing her specialty training in 2010 she returned to practice in Michigan where she now lives in Northville again with her three children: Jonathan, Christian and Kaia.

Dr. Stockhausen was the recipient of the New Dentist Award for Excellence in 2007. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Michigan Association of Endodontics, the American Association of Endodontics, Zeta Tau Alpha and was inducted into the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy.  She is the past president of the Detroit District Dental Society and has served in many other roles such as secretary of the Detroit District Dental Society and president of the Western Branch Detroit Dental Society.

Her research “The Perceived Prognosis of Endodontic Treatment and Implant Therapy among Dental Practitioners” was published in the February, 2011, issue of “Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology and Endodontology.”  She has been voted a "Top Doctor" by her dental peers in Detroit's Hour Magazine 2012 to 2025.

In her free time, Dr. Stockhausen enjoys reading and traveling with her family. She loves skiing and wakeboarding, but most of all she enjoys being a mom!
